Pastoral Council Pastoral Council serves as liaison between the pastor and parishioners, as well as a sounding board – giving advice to the pastor on matters concerning the parish-at-large. Council members serve three- year terms; new council members are selected by committee, then appointed by the pastor to serve. Meetings take place on a monthly basis.
Finance Council As the only council for which the parish is mandated to have, the Finance Council meets monthly to offer sound financial guidance to the pastor on all business matters pertaining to the faith community. In addition, the council serves as liaison to the parish-at-large, communicating to parishioners the financial well-being of the parish. The council operates in compliance with guidelines set forth by the Archdiocese of Atlanta. Council members are appointed by the pastor, and serve three-year terms.
